Spirit of December

As the year comes to an end, we celebrate the act of living

The warmth of spending time with loved ones, overshadows the cold

Whether time is spent outside basking in the ice or huddled by the fireplace

The exuberance remains the same every year,

Every 365 days or 8,760 hours or 525,600 minutes, the setting is joyous

Many changes can be made in such a period of time; setting, location or companions

That is the indomitable spirit of December
