Seasonal Changes – Harold White

The days go by, and winter becomes spring.

The world gets warmer, flowers begin to bloom, such a beautiful thing.

The birds sing their songs, people start to go outside.

The days become longer, the sun no longer hides.

But with all good, there is always a hint of bad.

And indeed, spring has many things to be had.

There’s the pollen, for one, which hurts my eyes.

There’s the bugs that bite me, I tell you no lies.

The snow melts away, but the flowers make me sneeze!

And of course, how can I forget all the stinging bees!

There’s a lot I enjoy about the spring, but much more I hate.

All I can continue to hope, is that summer won’t come late.
