The following is a conversation between movie critics Lola and Holden:
EPIC The Movie:
Holden: The whole movie is wonderful, and the music is just phenomenal, although I have one complaint, and it’s that it’s called Epic the musical when it’s an opera (IT IS NOT -Lola), and I am upset that they called it that. Anyway, it’s great and a solid 4.3/5.0.
Lola: It was AMAZING! It was around my 6th time watching this. (I suggested it as a joke and look at where we are). Hopefully he doesn’t say anything about the fact I was singing the whole time. It was beautiful, the songs are amazing, and all the animators were awesome. 1000000% 10/10 🥹🙏
Urinetown:
Holden: I had already seen this play and I really enjoyed it the second time and my favorite song has to be “cop song” and I honestly just love it so much. And the fact that Urinetown was just death is such a good twist. Also the fact that two characters knew that it was a play was pretty nice. I give this play a solid 4.7/5.0 stars.
Lola: Is this a metaphor for dictators or actually a play about a town surrounded around pee? We’ll never know 😔0.00000000000000000000000000000001/10 I dont like the word metaphor
The Bee movie:
Holden: It’s such a meme and it’s a genuinely good movie but the fact that it’s a HUGE meme kinda made it worse but still good in a way. This movie does not feel like a kid’s movie at all. Ken is the most sane person in the movie because a bee just stole his girlfriend or whoever she is and everyone is on the side of the bees. But still 4.5/5.0 stars
Lola: A crazy man wrote this movie. They said the word “Bee” 172 times and we only counted 159. Don’t ask why we were counting. This movie is perfect in every way but holy crap, how is this a kids’ movie? 10/10 🐝
