Letter from the co-editor-in-chief – Kay Archambault

I never knew what I would put in a final letter and as I sit down today, I still don’t. It feels hard to try to talk about the final edition of the school year while you’re trying to wrap up that last four years of your life all at once. It feels impossible to write anything when all you feel is nostalgia. It’s comparable to asking me to explain my whole life in two minutes. I can’t. But I know this isn’t the end, it’s simply just the start of something new.

When I joined RamPage this year, I wasn’t expecting to become the Editor-in-Chief. I joined because I knew the teacher who ran it. I loved her as a teacher, and I just wanted to write. But the things I’ve done this year and the people that I have met have been the most cherished thing I have experienced throughout my high school career. While I always have loved writing, journalism opened up a whole new world for me. It’s raw and it’s real and I love it. This club has become a second home for me and I can’t believe this is goodbye.

To my fellow writers, readers, and Ms. Callahan – Thank you.

Though I can’t wait for my next adventure, this ending is still bittersweet. It is always difficult to say goodbye to something you love so much.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege to write and to be your Editor-In-Chief. It has been an honor.

With so much love and gratitude,

Kay Archambault, Senior 2026
