Christmas Movie Reviews

By Lola Aiken & Holden White

The Grinch

Lola: 20/10. The Jim Carrey version of this movie is personally the best out of them. Cindy loo-who is amazing and the Grinch is a great life lesson. Even those with the worst can still turn good. Amazing movie, I would recommend.

Holden: Jim Carrey was amazing five stars just for Jim Carrey and for the rest of the movie it was pretty good I would say it’s like a 3.9 stars because Jim Carrey absolutely carried.

Nightmare before Christmas

Lola: 100000000/10. It’s a classic in my family, of course we had to watch the icon, especially because Holden had said he never watched it before. The stop motion is always amazing. The plot of Christmas being taken over is always a great idea. I always loved it, and always will

Holden: The Nightmare Before Christmas was a really good movie;cla it had a great plot and wonderful characters. Also, the claymation was great. I love it. 4.2 stars. If you want a perfect blend of Christmas and Halloween, then this is the perfect movie.

A Christmas Story

Lola: 725.6829462945/10. It’s a classic to everyone. The want for a Red Ryder is a shared passion. And beating up the bully in the scene where Ralphie beat up Scut was amazing to watch. The scene with the mall Santa was terrifying, and he is true that working past nine is horror.

Holden: It was an old movie but a good movie. I really enjoyed it and it was a lot better than I remember 4.93 stars. If you’re looking for a good Christmas movie then this will be it. The ending is a great one and I love the leg lamp. R.I.P 1983-1983
